It is wonderful that many organisations give to charities and organisations are becoming more giving to those in need.
We started giving as soon as we started making money. We are truly passionate about this. We don't want to use this as a marketing tool, but we think it is important that you know what we are about.
Each one of the causes we give to are connected to us in some ways. For example, we have staff who have children with anaphylaxis, parents or family members who have battled prostate cancer, and friends who are working overseas with ADRA and Worldvision. We have staff who have lost loved ones to diseases.
We give to causes that are personal to us and our staff. We give not only cash, but staff are able to take time off to give to these causes, and we cover their time. We also sponsor events or golf tournaments supporting these organisations.
Some of our staff spend weeks working overseas each year rolling out wireless in disaster relief areas, or helping aid organisations with computers and photography. Many of our staff have spent time in Australia or overseas working with the organisations we support. Many have spent time in orphanages and in disaster relief areas, and we think this is important to help understand what a privilege it is for us to work here in Australia.
We are happy to share stories or photos if you would like more information...
We have teamed up with NAB and McDonalds in the past and helped the Ilhan Foundation, The Hope Foundation, DreamTrack, ADRA, World Vision, Movember, 25000 Spins and many others.
As a passionate golfer, the director of The Netconn Group has also partnered with many pro-golfers in charity endeavours, and our company is a founding member and sponsor of an annual golf charity day on the Sunshine Coast each September to raise money for these causes.
